Fantasy Life i joins this week’s eShop roundup

What’s happening on the Nintendo eShop this week? The long-awaited Fantasy Life i is upon us, along with retro titles, Switch 2 pre-orders, classic tunes, and plenty of new games.

Fantasy Life i has been a long time coming. After a few delays and some exciting trailers, the follow-up to the 2012 3DS title is finally here; and it’s bursting with content. The cozy adventure outing features 14 different life roles to play, allowing you to create a life that’s all your own. It features console cross play, town building, and much more that’s sure to keep players busy for some time.

Meanwhile, Nintendo’s own music streaming service continues to expand! This week’s addition is the classic tunes of Kid Icarus. The collection features both the Famicom and NES versions, giving listeners the complete retro experience.

Speaking of retro, another N64 classic has joined the Nintendo Switch Online collection. If you’re into fighters, you’ll be pleased to see Rare’s Killer Instinct Gold on offer. We spoke about this classic fighter on last week’s episode of the Pure Nintendo Podcast.

If, on the other hand, you’re looking to the future, the Switch 2 is just over a week away. There are a few new pre-orders that might tempt you as the release date sneaks closer and closer. The three titles on offer this week are Hitman, Kunitsu-Gami, and Survival Kids. These third-party titles are sure to add to the launch-day fun, so jump online and pre-order ahead of time to jump straight in on June 5.
