This means that Super Mario Galaxy Movie is the first movie of 2026 to do this, but naturally there’s fierce competition on the horizon. Both Super Mario Bros. Movies now feature at No.9 on the box-office animated movie list by revenue and this is Chris Meledandri’s third franchise in the top 10. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has made $428.5M in the United States and $571.5M overseas at the box-office.
