The official Squanch Games account has posted that High on Life 2 will be delayed on the Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game, which was originally set to ship next month, has been pushed back until 1st July. The team posted a short message on X, which you can read below, and it states that the delay will help meet “our high standards for gaming” and that “additional elbow grease” is required.
“Greetings players! As the Squanch Games team continues to champion delivering the highest quality experiences, we have elected to (slightly) delay the release of High On Life 2 for Nintendo Switch 2. The additional elbow grease towards production will ultimately allow the studio to better meet not only our high standards for gaming, but yours as well. That being said, High On Life 2’s debut on the console will shift from April 20th to July 1st of 2026. Any digital preorders already placed will be canceled. Physical preorders will remain in place, with shipment expected in July.”
